How To Verify Your NextDoor Page

Once your NextDoor page is set up, you will be required to verify it. You will not be able to make posts until you do. To do so, log in to NextDoor and click on "Your Page" on the left navigation menu.

In the middle, you will see a blue box requesting verification. Click on "more information." 

After you click on "more information," you will be taken to the next page, where you can click "submit verification materials." It will then take you to a page that lists acceptable forms of verification and upload them. There are times when NextDoor will let you verify by phone. This is only an option when it is shown and not one you can choose otherwise.

All verification documents must list the business's name as it has been set up in NextDoor. Otherwise, your verification will be rejected. You can redact any sensitive information, such as bank account numbers.

NextDoor is usually pretty quick to turn around verification approvals and rejections. They will notify you by email once they have made a decision.
